Description
Mawimbi is a lovingly run hotel directly on the white sandy beach of Isla Holbox with several buildings and a total of 13 rooms in the middle of a beautiful tropical garden. On the beach there are comfortable sun loungers, hammocks and rocking beds.
There is an excellent restaurant with a bar in the hotel. The accommodation offers room service and free Wi-Fi. All rooms at the hotel are equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom.

Our Review
The very friendly Italian owners have lovingly designed the small hotel complex in Mexican style. Located on the best part of beach on the coast, the hotel has an unusually large and comfortable beach area with a beautiful garden. The ambience is quiet, very warm and family-like. The service is excellent and the associated beach restaurant “Barquito” offers not only excellent food, but also delicious breakfasts and irresistibly good cocktails.
The rooms are very clean and well maintained and available in different sizes and price categories. In addition, tours to fish or snorkel with whale sharks are offered with their own motorboat. If you want to spend your vacation here you should book early, because the boutique hotel Mawimbi is usually booked up weeks or even months in advance.
